Canada announced tariffs up to 50% on hundreds of U.S. products in retaliation for Washington's duties that began last week. The measures take effect September 8 and will double tariffs on steel and aluminum to 50%. About 700 additional items will be hit with new duties, expanding the trade dispute between the two countries.
